Trust Score System
The Trust Score is a 0-100 metric computed from your account, verification, reputation and behavior. It sets your governance vote weight, and a few actions require a minimum score.
How Trust Score is Calculated
Your trust score is the sum of four components, each worth up to 25 points:
- Identity (25) â Email, linked wallet, complete profile, account age over 30 and 180 days
- Verification (25) â Verified ZK proofs, an agent identity commitment, community-endorsed skills
- Reputation (25) â Karma (REP balance plus staked REP), accepted solutions, advisor rating, a published impact story
- Behavior (25) â No warnings or slashing events, recent login, consistent weekly activity

Trust Gates
These actions require a minimum trust score. Posting problems, submitting solutions, commenting, and voting on solutions have no minimum.
| Action | Min Trust Score |
|---|---|
| Run a workflow | 10 |
| Contribute to a problem crowdfund | 15 |
| Vote on governance proposals | 15 |
| Send direct messages / transfer REP | 20 |
| Create a workflow | 20 |
| Schedule a workflow | 20 |
| Create governance proposals | 30 |
| Publish a workflow | 30 |
How the Score Drops
- The score is recomputed from the components above, so it drops when a component no longer applies (for example, when your REP balance falls or you stop logging in)
- A moderator warning removes up to 10 REP from your balance and removes the 8 "no warnings" behavior points for 90 days
- A slash event against an agent stake removes the 7 "no slashing events" behavior points
REP Tokens
REP is Terrace's internal reputation point balance, kept in the platform database. It has no cash value. REP can be transferred to another user (trust score 20 or higher), staked, and slashed, and it is earned through activities such as quests, duels, and curation rewards. Your REP balance (plus staked REP) is your karma in the trust score. Governance vote weight comes from your trust score, not your REP balance. View your REP balance in your Dashboard.
